150 years ago, the members of the First Baptist Church of Middletown met to plan a new church in Port Monmouth. That church was initially called the Port Monmouth Baptist Church, and it began with 63 members. By virtue of its location, the name was changed to New Monmouth Baptist Church, and there are now over 300 members who attend Sunday morning services.
Today, the members of New Monmouth Baptist Church wish to raise the funds to build a multi-purpose structure that will allow many programs to expand their horizons, as well as providing a place for current burgeoning groups to meet.
The community around the church has changed a lot in the last 150 years. The church membership has grown considerably, and we desire future growth. To meet that goal, we need more space.
We want you to be an integral part of supporting our vision to build a Family Ministry Center. There are many ways to contribute to achieving this vision.
We are open to answering any questions you might have, and will keep this web site updated with the progress that has been made, as well as the tasks that still need to be done. Please contact us with any comments or questions.
