Directions from Garden State Parkway:

Exit at 117, follow signs for route 35 East. Travel east about 5 miles, look for a shopping center on your left that has a "Nobody Beats the Wiz," an "A & P," and a "Barnes & Nobles" (among many others); get into the center lane here and pass straight through the traffic light. You will see ahead another light, with a ramp just before it on the right - use this ramp to exit the highway, at go straight through the light from the ramp towards New Monmouth. You are now on Cherry Tree Farm Road. Go through two traffic lights, NMBC will be on your right at the third. Overflow parking is across the street on the left; you will need this unless you are fairly early, since the main lot fills up fast. There is a traffic officer present on Sunday mornings to help you cross the street.

Directions from Route 35:

If you are coming from points west, use the directions from the Parkway above; the maps will give you some idea where on this course you are. If you are coming from the east, you will want to exit the highway at New Monmouth Road to your right, which is west of the "Sears" and "Dunkin' Donuts." Take New Monmouth Road north for 2-3 miles, and NMBC will be on your left. You can enter the main parking lot just before the building on the left on Sunday mornings; at other times it is closed off. If you make the left on to Cherry Tree Farm Road just past the church, you can get into the main lot with a left turn, but this is difficult if there is any kind of traffic, and in most cases you are better off making a RIGHT into the overflow lot across Cherry Tree Farm Road from the church. There is a traffic officer present on Sunday mornings to help you cross the street.

Directions from Route 36:

From either direction, it is easiest to exit the highway at Main Street in Belford to get to NMBC. You will need to go south on Main Street - from eastbound Rt. 36, this is a right turn, from westbound, a jug-handle to make a left. BE SURE IT'S MAIN STREET BELFORD YOU TURN ON, NOT MAIN STREET PORT MONMOUTH. The two are only a mile or so apart, so be watchful. Take Main Street through town until it T's onto Leonardsville Road; make a right turn on Leonardsville Road. In about two miles you will come to the traffic light where Cherry Tree Farm Road, New Monmouth Road, and Leonardsville Road come together, and you will see the church on the corner. Make a right here - you can enter the main parking lot with a left turn, though you are usually better off making a right into the overflow parking lot across the street. There is a traffic officer present on Sunday mornings to help you cross Cherry Tree Farm Road.

Parking

NMBC was founded in 1854, and has grown considerably since then; not surprisingly, our main parking lot is somewhat limited because of this. We try to encourage members and regular attenders to use the overflow lot and supplementary parking areas to leave room for visitors and the handicapped in the main lot. Unfortunately, sometimes even our best efforts fall short, and the main lot fills up. As mentioned in the directions above, there is an overflow parking lot across Cherry Tree farm Road from the church, and this crossing is attended by a traffic officer. We also have made arrangements with Saint Mary's Church, just west of us on Cherry Tree Farm Road, who allows us to use the portion of their parking lot that abuts our own overflow lot. There is a gravel driveway between these areas.
