Men’s Bible Study & Fellowship – Mondays – 7:00 p.m.
The evening begins with a time of fellowship, followed by a Bible Study, studying a specific book of the Bible. We have an informative question and answer period and end with a time of prayer. We meet in the Education Building located behind the church on the second floor, conference room. All men of the church are welcomed. Grizzlies – Tuesdays – 7:30 a.m.
The New Monmouth Grizzlies are a small group of Mature Men who gather in the Griggs house to pray, study, snack, plan, & share. Present participants include Pastor Dan, three former deacons, a present & former trustees, “our missionary to Haiti” and others sharing the Spirit at NMBC. Our group also includes several formerly active participants who, by reason of infirmity, can no longer make our weekly gatherings. Grizzlies are active in other matters, caring for lawns/leaves of some of our older members, visiting the sick, providing bible lessons & communion (on request) at Nursing Homes, contributing to our brethren in Haiti, and helping with tasks around our campus. Dad’s Class – Wednesdays – 7:00 a.m.
This study helps men to become a more effective father or husband. Utilizing the book The Effective Father by Gordon McDonald, participants will study and share insights found in the book, which will strengthen dad’s relationship with his wife, his children, and grandchildren. They meet in the Education Building, Conference Room. The format is a small group discussion.
Men’s Fellowship Breakfast – Saturdays – 8:00 a.m.
This ministry meets monthly on the third Saturday, from 8:00 – 9:30 a.m. Pastor Dan is currently the leader. A full breakfast is served followed by a time of singing, prayer and testimony. A Bible-based study on various topics is then conducted by the leader.
