Upward Basketball

LOGO for Website PostUpward Sports, the world’s largest Christian sports program for children, was created with a vision to provide the best sports experience possible for every child.  Anyone – children and volunteers of any faith or no faith – can participate in Upward Sports. Specifically designed for children in K5-sixth grade, Upward Sports aim is to bring out “the winner” in every child – regardless of the game’s score. When your child plays, he/she will be able to: practice and play a game every week, get equal playing time, learn techniques to improve his/her basketball skills, receive special recognition awards after every game, and develop new friendships.

Regarding the 2016 Season:

Hello Upward families and friends,

It has been both a joy and a blessing for our families and our church to serve in the Upward Basketball Ministry for the last six seasons.  We thank you for your love and support during this time.  You’ll never know how much this ministry has touched our families.

So it is difficult to say, but after much prayer and consideration, we have decided it is in the best interest of our families and ourselves personally to take a year off to re-energize.  During this time we will also be rebuilding the program and developing new leadership to provide a better experience for the children in the future.

While we are “under construction”, we will remain in touch and welcome input from all.

Thank you again.

God bless you and your family.

For HIS Glory,

The Bottari and Colantino families
