New Jersey’s Largest Rhythmic Gymnastics Team
Rhythmic gymnastics is one discipline of the overall sport of gymnastics. It combines a variety of dance and acrobatic skills with the use of hand apparatus such as balls, hoops, ribbons, ropes, and clubs. All routines are set to music and the gymnasts perform routines individually or in groups, duets, trios, etc.
Our club began with three girls in 2004. We now have grown to over 100 registered athletes, making us the largest rhythmic team in the state and one of the larger East Coast teams.
Our club was a member of the Monmouth County 4-H for a full decade, which is under the Rutgers Cooperative Extension. We are now a non-profit 501(c)3 and 509(a)2 organization. We belong to and compete under the USAIGC system (United States Association of Independent Gymnastics Clubs) and IAIGC (International Association of Independent Gymnastics Clubs). Our gymnasts have competed in State, Regional, National, and International competitions. We have competed at ten USAIGC National Championships and three USAIGC/IAIGC World Championships.
We have traveled around the country and competed in places like Canada, California, Florida, Massachusetts, New York City, West Virginia, Virginia, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, South Carolina and North Carolina, among others.
